Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training

Create inspiring and supportive classes that address the physical, mental and emotional challenges experienced during pregnancy, providing effective tools to help your students find comfort in their bodies and peace in their minds.

Regardless of whether you are a mother or have ever been pregnant, you will find your own practice enhanced as the training program deepens your awareness and understanding of the extraordinary and wondrous process we call pregnancy.

Yoga practice during pregnancy can help women navigate the physical, mental and emotional challenges inherent in this life-changing experience, with greater ease and balance. As teachers of prenatal Yoga, we honour women and the uniqueness of each woman’s journey. We empower women to listen for and to trust their own wisdom and intuition; so that they can embrace motherhood with awareness, strength and resilience.

Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training prepares yoga teachers to work professionally, confidently and sensitively with pregnant women. We’ll explore the many changes that occur during each stage of pregnancy and learn appropriate modifications for a safe, healthy and beneficial yoga practice.

Learn to create and hold compassionate space for pregnant women in their journey; guiding them with kindness and acceptance through the joys and challenges of this extraordinary process.

For registrants who are certified 200 Hour or 500 Hour Yoga Teachers, you will be eligible for certification with Yoga Alliance as a Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher once you have completed 30 hours of Prenatal Yoga teaching after the program is complete.

For registrants who are not currently 200 Hour or 500 Hour Yoga Teachers, we will ask that you complete a few hours of reading prior to the start of your training program. If you are not currently a certified yoga teacher, you will not be recognized by Yoga Alliance as a Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher until you have successfully completed an accredited 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training.

Together we’re changing the world, one happy mother at a time.
