I’m equal parts philosopher, artist and teacher. But above all, I’m a student; a student of life. I’ve been an academic, an actor, a singer and songwriter; a health advocate, social justice activist, ayurvedic practitioner, yoga teacher, curriculum developer and a writer.
Every one of these pursuits has offered me the opportunity to explore my own mind and heart; my potential. I’ve seen that I’m capable of so much more than I ever thought I was. At the same time, I’ve learned that it’s okay to be where I’m at; I don’t have to do anything ~ to achieve anything ~ to be worthy of others’ investment or love. This realization has been the single most important insight I’ve had. It has completely transformed my life from the inside, out.
As a teacher, writer and musician ~ my main pursuits now ~ I get to share what I’ve learned with others. I’ve not only found a job I love, I’ve found a job that cultivates love ~ first inwardly and then outwardly. And for that I am truly and deeply grateful.
