I arrived at my first yoga class in the winter of 2005. I still remember the vibe, the warmth, and the nurturing energy when I walked into the studio ~ it was like somewhere I’ve always wanted to be…then I experienced a sequence focused on heart opening poses and I was in LOVE.
In the fall of 2006 I decided to take my first 200-hour teaching training program in Southern Italy to expand my yogic knowledge & amp up my practice.
Upon my return I spent time reflecting on my first yoga training and I began to see the parallels between my passion for social work & yoga. I knew, in that moment, that my calling was to empower the world with yogic teachings & advocacy.
My mission, on and off the mat, is to empower people to live a beautiful life. Teaching yoga & being a witness to people’s incredible transformations is a blessing I am grateful for everyday. Watching people choose to lead their lives fearlessly light & free is what continues to motivate me on my path.
